About Us

Proseed2Green was founded in 2010 by Allison Samowitz and Jillian Samowitz, a set of California born, South Florida raised twin sisters who are deeply rooted and committed to their small beach town. They looked at the beautiful, small environment and worried over its future.

Deeply in love with the beautiful setting that is in need of protecting, the two decided it was time to take action and give back. Together, the girls thought, “In a small town, can we make a big impact?” They came up with seven basic programs, as a primer that any small community can start with.

Utilizing social media sites, such as FaceBook, an online community is soon being born, bringing neighbors together, creating friends, and neighborhoods. Working with the Town, they have suggested, created and implemented programs that can create an eco-friendly, fiscally responsible momentum that any town can emulate.  It can start small without pitting neighbors against each other and it can work long term.

Dr. Harvey and Phyllis Samowitz have always supported their daughters by taking them to beautiful National Parks all over this gorgeous country and traveling around the world. They instilled a love for nature in their daughters at an early age and continue to help them become more aware of the recent environmental issues that affect us today.

Together, the Samowitz family invites you to join them and take some steps, whether big or small, to help the environment.

Allison Samowitz and Jillian Samowitz live in Golden Beach Florida the northern most Miami-Dade town on the ocean.  They attend Pine Crest High School in Fort Lauderdale where they participate in the Ballet Program and are on the Girl's Lacrosse Team.  They are both Black Belts in Tae-Kwon-Do which they earned at Dynamic Academy in Aventura and Hollywood.  As P.A.D.I.-certified S.C.U.B.A. Divers, the girls also have a love for the ocean and know that the water is being impacted just as much as the surface.
